Our very first success story! And what a wonderful one to tell because it seems that kindness really is contagious.
Pull-up banners may not seem like much to the average event professional but they aren’t cheap if you’re a charity in need of signage. Destined to be locked away in storage or disposed of because they were no longer needed, our client had 10 pull-up banners which were gathering dust after a virtual event, so we got to work with our network.
On the charity side, we were connected with Hillsong who work on the #loveyourneighbour campaign, a project helping those affected by COVID with food provision, financial education and career coaching in London, Newcastle, Reading and Tonbridge. They needed signage to support and promote their pandemic project.
On the events side, a long-trusted industry graphics supplier, RHM Event Graphics stepped up to the mark in more ways than one. Although they hadn’t produced the banners, the team at RHM were happy to accept the banner bases and repurpose them for future events.
Not stopping there and wanting to help our charity base in some way, RHM also offered to re-skin some of the banners for Hillsong, for free. And to top it off they delivered them to their door too!
10 banners were saved from landfill
4 banners were repurposed by Hillsong charity
6 banner aluminium bases were repurposed back into the events industry
Didn’t think banners could be donated, did you?
